Anthony Ritter and Allie Mustard Win Spring Pairs

Showing their learned skills, Anthony Ritter and Allie Mustard put together a fine effort to win the Spring PairsAllie Mustar, Anthony Ritter championship sponsored by Reno Youth Bridge and the Washoe County School System.  The contest is one of three intramural events held each year to test the learning of contract Duplicate Bridge by students of Washoe County School System in after school activity classes.  The game is taught by volunteer bridge experts who are members of the Reno Unit of the American Contract Bridge League.  Started ten years ago, Reno Youth Bridge has provided opportunity for students in 14 high schools and Junior high schools to enjoy learning and playing the game of contract bridge.  The game exercises the brain in ways that enhances academic achievement and has contributed to many student’s ability to earn high marks on College entrance exams. 

Sophia Paiva and Ella Paiva came in second and Daphne Quint and Alexandria Mustard were third in Section A.  For the new participants, Reno Youth Bridge has a special Section in which the players are allowed to receive help from their instructor and the winners of that events were Kat Kallas and Angell Sumampong,Sophia Paiva and Ella Paiva came in second and Daphne Quint and Alexandria Mustard were third in Section A.  For the new participants, Reno Youth Bridge has a special Section in which the players are allowed to Other pairs placing second and third were Eden Richards and Laila Wilson and Emree va and Candace Chao.
